BIO
Cathryn began to paint in the summer of 2019, a few years after retiring from an academic career
as a Professor of Spanish Language and Literature in Orange County, California (Fullerton College).
An actor as well, she appeared in numerous local and university productions throughout Southern
California. Cathryn moved to Leland, North Carolina in October of 2020. She joined the Art League
of Leland (ALL) and currently sits on the ALL Board. She is also a member of the Communication team
and ALL’s webmaster.
Cathryn continues to perform in local theater throughout Brunswick County, North Carolina.

Brunswick Little Theater, Southport, NC, April 2023: Portraits depicting imaginary residents of the tenement featured in Tennessee William’s classic play, The Glass Menagerie, were exhibited in the lobby windows of the theater as an extension of the set for this production.
